And then sit and watch teams run all on us or sit back and pick us apart with their WR3 or TE with no pass rush.  While the offense struggles to score.

Free agency has better pass rush options than the draft imo, tho I like KJ Henry in the 3rd or 4th.

I don't see any likely available pass rushers in the 1st either that I think would have a bigger impact than Porter.

I'm coming around to a CB in the first if a QB or DE aren't available.

Donte and  JC have had multiple injuries, Henderson appears to be a bust (the poor guy has had 3 HC and 3 DC in his short career, with Rhule and Urban giving his intro to the NFL just about as bad a start as possible).

If we pick at 9, we have to get an impact player, and CB is one of those positions that impacts games.

Much prefer a pass rusher to pair with Burns. Granted, I don't know much about this year's draft and prospects so not sure any make sense in the range we are picking. Get Carr as an actual good stopgap (unlike the shitty ones of the past 3 years) and let our new HC handpick his QB when he falls in love with one in a draft (kinda like Reid with Mahomes several years into his KC career), even if we need to trade up in the future.

This class is absolutely loaded with edge talent

Much rather have some Dline help or just trade back then any DB.

Really not impressed with what we have gotten out of what we have spent on CB recently. First move Jackson for a pick or find one in the 3rd to 5th range that can contribute regularly before shooting for another top 10 CB pick.

I think KJ is going to be rotational depth in the NFL.   He wasn't really dominant at Clemson and that was being in a great position to be.  Good DT play and a better DE across from him.

Think this current crop coming out at Clemson is a step back from what they have been putting out into the NFL on the DL.

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
