Reich New Head Coach

Hopefully if and when Wilks responds to this day, he does it in a professional way, and doesn't try to point things out like he did in the past. I don't think this situation is like his past ones. Though I do wonder if that's why Tre Boston tweeted what he did.

That said, a big ol MEH to Reich. He's like the offensive version of Fox and Rivera. I don't see us getting more than nine wins with him unless we score big with a QB. It will be nice to see an actual offense philosophy though.

Irsay is an idiot. I wouldn’t take much stock in “Another team didn’t want"

And Tepper is smart ?, Did he win in Indy , no

What drugs are you smoking that you think he will win here , that kind of thinking got us here

This is the worst coach they could have hired , our owner is the biggest moron in professional sports, and we are going to be an eternal garbage dump untill he is forced to sell the team

If the Panthers did select Anthony Richardson at #9, I cannot think of a better HC than Reich to develop him and have him reach his full potential as an NFL QB.

Not the guy I want to draft at all but Reich would be a guy that might be able to mold that clay from the current turd shape into a stud QB.

Man CBs look bad in Charmin soft zones. With NO pressure.

Literally gave the goat 5 seconds to get the ball out.

Man, zone, CJ Henderson and that other guy looked horrible in all schemes. Its a moot point now, but you can't believe that Wilks coached them to stop running and look back in the backfield. Secondly, our front seven contains two-three decent players and some JAGS. Now that its been decided on Frank, let's hope he brings in some talent so we won't have to play Charmin soft zones and the same guys don't get ran by next year. That's in case the new DC wants to run an aggressive man to man, blitz-heavy system.

Wilks wasn't considered for any other HC positions that are open.

He isn't seen as a HC anywhere else in the league.

I really wish him the best, but I think he's more suited as either a DC (which I still question) or an Assistant Head Coach.

Reich isn't a sexy hire, but I will support him and hope he puts together a really good staff.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
