That never made sense. You're basically saying Cam was so talented that there will never be another QB like him in NFL history. Josh Allen plays like Cam imo and he is a better passer.

 

People saying Burrow is the next Brady. I can see the comparison.

 

You can compare QB's. We been doing it for decades.

I dont think this is OP's intent but all tall AA QBs that are strong and fast should not automatically be compared to Cam Newton.

I’ve always thought of it the other way around. Cam was the precursor AR. That doesn’t really help does it.

He’s probably the most athletically gifted QB since Cam. Less experienced right now, but has the upside to grow in to a special player. Could also flame out.

I can see why one can dream of him being the next Cam or Josh Allen eventually. People are sooooooo sensitive about anything Cam. Just relax a little bit.

Don't do this to this kid. If we draft him just let him be Anthony Richardson. Honestly, my biggest reservation about drafting him is that the Cam comparisons and expectations would be heaped on him immediately due to the physical similarities.
