It sure seems that the Panthers may be trying to bait Houston into giving us 2 & 12 or 32. I mean, all of a sudden all this info is leaking that we want Young when there has been absolutely nothing before. Seems like something is brewing.

If we leak our way to 2 & 12 you can go ahead and crown the front office.

I always go back to our huddle "insider" LeakyFaucet when they said Stroud is and always has been the pick

I was skeptical of their insight with the Carr info but he did seem to be on track with the uniform comments. Who knows I suppose he could be legit. I do wonder if all this Bryce Young hype is just playing the game trying to get the Texans to bite on a trade up. Plus let's be honest it's in the best interest of the league to milk this for all it's worth and controversy sells.

Masters week>>>>>>> but yeah I wish it was this Thursday/ next weekend.

I know what you mean with Masters Week because I live under 10 miles of that golf course where it is played. I also would rather watch the draft than a little white(or other color) ball hit across grass all day everyday for a week..

So Bryce can quickly process that he can't make a throw that CJ could make. It's nearly impossible to compare each teams O-lines and how opposing teams decided to pressure them if you switched Bryce and CJ on their respective teams. I think Stroud can give a team more opportunity for adjustments that will counter whatever defensive schemes other teams come up with. Bryce's style is great when it works but when it doesn't you got a lot less playbook to pick from at halftime when you need to make adjustments

What is clear to me is if you are staunchly for or against one of Young or Stroud, you'd better get used to it find peace with the idea that the one you don't want or would rather not have may be our pick.

Whether you want them or not, it will likely be one of them so you might as well get on board.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
