His 4 year 25 million signing was the biggest in the offseason but it is well below what top backs got in the past.

It's getting easier to find starts on day 3. The more pass friendly the game gets, the less valuable RBs will become.

RB has been a devalued position for decades now. It's just been hard for Panthers fans to notice as we never caught on as we continued to spend premium picks and big money on the position.

He says almost every RB is underpaid which is totally untrue. It is simple supply vs demand, there are tons of guys out there that can play RB at a high level. 

You could argue that quite a few RBs are overpaid if anything. 

When was the last time a high dollar RB won or even played in a super bowl?

They need to stop beating a dead horse, RBs getting paid top dollar is over with. We would have to see a guy averaging like 8-10 ypc for him to be paid a massive contract, the difference between 5 ypc and 3.5 ypc is miniscule.

I mean Fox drafted Williams and Stewart. Rivera keeping both signed was a bit dumb though lol. The spending spree in 2011 got a little dumb especially for some of the home grown players.

A running back that can catch the ball out of the backfield will have a high priority place in the game today..  IF HE CAN BLOCK TOO,,  He's worth every penny .
