All the ex players that have expressed approval for Young and Reich and staff have me a little curious. I don’t believe they were blowing company smoke when they praised, so what were they looking at? Are they all that wrong?

Everyone wanted offensive coach… I am hearing tons of moaning and complaining oh now the defense sucks. It amuses me on some level, I do admit. But as far as offensive people out there I thought Reich was acceptable as a choice so I am looking around wondering what is going on too, really.
What I have seen since he got into the job doesn’t really strike me as displaying a commanding presence… or maybe I am trying to say I don’t get the vibe of big time leader slash winner. That is all intangible type stuff so who that isn’t involved with it is qualified to say what that looks like…. Not me really.
It is easy to understand questions being raised with the team looking bad.

Two preseason games and first team has mustered 3 points.

Young might be good but he’s not Cam, he’ll never ‘will’ the team to victory, he’s going to be a great system QB

Defense got smoked by a Barkley’less Giants offense

 but yea it’s preseason

Yeah. He’s small and slight, he was slow all night and can’t see what he needs to see to be an impact player. Huge mistake.

The team looked like ass and went 1-3 in preseason Cams rookie year. First game of the season Cam lit it up. It’s preseason you dopes….We will be better than the last 4 years I can promise you that. No we are not a superbowl team, but I promise that by the end of the season we feel better about the direction of our teams future than we have felt in a very long time

I feel like I’ve seen this everywhere around the internet, but the 2011 strike year seemed to be very friendly to passing offenses.

It’s gonna be hilarious when we beat the falcons week 1 and everyone switches instantly. OP will be the first person clamoring about how this is a playoff team and we run the south. Book it

I don't know if we're going to have a massive turnaround in week one, but to be honest I don't care.

Said elsewhere you can't really judge how good your team genuinely is until around midseason, and with this being a new start it'll likely take even longer than that.

For folks that question that idea, remember how a couple of years ago we started 4-0 and thought maybe Matt Rhule's year three magic had come a season early? 😕

    • What’s going to suck about Necas is that he’s going to go somewhere and put up 80+ points. Good player, wrong system.
    • Yeah I didn’t intend to suggest they made adjustments, I just said Rivera and Wilkes were good at barking at dudes for sucking. Vs the Rhule high pitched yapping and the Reich dead eyes and mutter
