Their fans want him fired after his very first game.  Lol.

Can you imagine showing up to your new high-paying job on Day 1…and at the end of the day your boss tells you they’re considering letting you go?  🙃

the first play of the game was a QB sneak, they blew the lead at the end.....and it was horrific offense for hours.

I mean, with all the money at Nebraska in a pay to play world.....it is a joke you could only get a GT QB to play.

yeah, he might be one and done.  Nebraska alumni don't have realistic expectations for Nebraska.  Which IMO always made it a weird choice for Matt Rhule to there for his redemption arc.

I think he will always be middle of the pack at best there. Looking back to his last year at Baylor he went 0-3 vs ranked teams and won 5 games by 1 score. The big 10 is a lot better than the big 12 especially when they get rid of the east/west divisions next year. there is no way he is going to consisently beat Ohio St/Michigan/Penn St

Yeah, he's shown he can get programs out of the gutter and back to respectability. He hasn't shown that he can actually take the next step and actually start beating good teams and build an actual contender at the national level.
