Well he hasn't gotten on the field more since we lost Shaq or any of the DB's either

And now they're still not pushing him up the depth chart with a Safety out either.

So what the fug is their plan for this guy, he was the "12th starter" coming into the season with the way they talked about him being able to play all over the place.  We've now lost players at all 3 positions that he moves around at, but he's still only getting on the field for 1/3 of the defensive snaps?!?!?!

Make it make sense

They drafted Bryce Young #1 overall - they clearly don't know what they're doing.

I was all about trading Chinn up until hearing this news.

Have felt for a few weeks now that we needed to trade him if we didn't have a plan to use him properly.  If he's only playing 1/3 of the snaps, he's not re-signing here next year, he's 100% walking away in FA.

But poo, if the Eagles of all teams want him, it's even more proof that he's a stud who just isn't being used correctly.

Just hearing they are who wants him, makes me re-think trading him and want to give the staff a chance to finally figure out how to use him and convince him to re-sign here in the offseason.

My reaction exactly. If certain teams want your guys, you need to keep them.

That makes 30 teams teams then. If Chicago drove a harder bargain or Vegas offered Adams he'd have been someone else's #1 overall pick. Or did we forget that "trade Fields and draft Bryce" was a real discussion a few months ago.

Not true. Not every team liked bryce young. None of the top qbs were labeled as cant miss pre draft so 30 teams damn sure weren't that infatuated.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
