His actual words tell a different story

I'm not concerned with words, only actions. Being a good soldier and espousing the company line are different from being the person to make the decisions.

Amazing how this excuse keeps getting reused over and over.
Rhule is being handcuffed by Hurney.

Fitt is being handcuffed by Rhule.

Now Morgan is being handcuffed by Fitt.

All of them just sucked.

Yep. Whoever is hiring these incompetent morons is the problem.

Knowing that Dan Morgan was an integral part of this mess is not encouraging. Of course he could go on to being a really good GM somewhere else. But this franchise really needs a complete shakeup in the player evaluation department overall. If that doesn't happen I do not expect our dismal ability to spot talent to suddenly change dramatically just because Fitterer is gone. The man who was constantly in his ear is still here and he will undoubtedly be in Dan's ear often. All I can do is hope for the best either way.

That would be a disaster for the Panthers.  If Tepper pulls the plug on another HC and GM within a season we can forget about ever getting anyone decent to come to this team.  No Man is going to come here to get a permanent blemish on his career, purposely.

We'll end up with retread after retread as they are the only ones that would even consider trying to revive their careers.

I don’t disagree with you.But it’s also true that this  is such an undesirable landing spot right now for a Coach or GM. If someone has an offer from us and any other vacancy there’s not much reason to choose coming here.

There is a big reason why the Panthers have gotten worse each year since 2018. They’ve had multiple coaches, GM’s, QB’s and players yet each year it is worse. The common denominator is the owner. If he continues to do his well documented meddling and influencing it really doesn’t matter who the new GM or HC is. The results will be consistently bad.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
