I will be the first to say when we signed this guy I was thinking we were signing a washed up vet looking for one last paycheck. But the guy is still a gamer, still a great teacher for Xavier and Coker

At 34 years old, still a great route runner, still can get open over the top, still with great hands!

Part of me would love to ship him off to a contender next year to give him one last shot at a ring since his dead cap will be low.

On the other hand, I don’t want to handicap Bryce with XL and whatever else.

If he didn't get hurt this year he'd have back to back 1,000 yard seasons. Add his professionalism and any mentoring he's provided and he's been worth every penny.

We made a lot of terrible moves in 2023, but Thielen may have just saved us from having an absolute catastrophe in our hands right now.

Still a #2 in this league. Folks sell him short, calling him a 3 or 4. For selfish reasons, if I’m Carolina I don’t let him go. We need to build up the receiver room, and AT will help in building that

Teams know it’s going to him but he still makes play after play after play. He is that dude. He’s  a gamer. He doesn’t just get a little open on crucial 3rd downs… he gets a lot open. Like 5 yards open, and he has not let up all season. With Sam still here, he’d feast.
