It honestly looks like we have like two plays we call on defense and that's it... Why we keep running the same zone play that is getting beat in the middle like a drum is baffling.

That being said, when Evero actually called a smart blitz, we got to watch our terrible linebacker just run right by Kyler and let him run the ball for 30 yards...

Be careful. Lonely incels might get mad at you for pointing out anything

Says the guy who spends his days spamming poo reactions on honest takes about the most consequential player on the roster and calling people shitheads because they don't agree with you.

Take a long break bud.

The offense made a turnover that resulted in a TD. You take that TD off the board and this would have been an entirely different game.

I think Evero has the same problems that Canales has. I think they are both handcuffed to some degree due to a talent deficiency on their side of the ball. Canales doesn't have a QB capable of running his scheme. Evero doesn't have enough talent on his side to be effective in his scheme. Our highest paid d-lineman is a good run defender but contributes little to our pass rush. None of LBs would start on a contending team. Our current starting  safeties don't make impact plays. Only 2 of our 11 starters (Brown, Horn) have to be accounted for on each play.

Some of this may still be their fault. It appears both have lobbied for players (via FA or the draft)who haven't contributed much. They seem hesitant to play their younger players or remain loyal to guys who just don't produce when they are on the field. As bad as this team is, you'd think they'd be dedicated to getting the young guys on the field as much as possible.

Wasting #1 picks on Young and Legette and questionable selections on the defensive side of the ball has set this team back for years.

I definitely don't think he makes it through the season. Seems like there's already tension between him and Canales but Canales needs to be taking a look at his own offense and holding himself accountable too. If your QB is handcuffing you, replace him. You're the head coach.

Maybe he doesn't have a choice this season and is just proving a point...

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
