So yall just watched 2 amazing catches from nobodies on the Saints to bail Trough out, yet THAT was a bad throw by Bryce? Come on man. Like I keep trying to tell yall, our WRs and TEs are not good. Yet.

4 is a good WR, but he is soft. Both of those things can be true. He’s also got a problem consistently attacking the football. He needs to go get the MFer

100% should have caught that?

Honestly, what in the world are you smoking?!?!?!

The defender punched the ball the split second it touched his hands, there isn't a player in the history of the NFL that would have been "expected" to catch that.

You know sometimes it's okay to just say the defender made a great play on the ball.

Your dude drops a pass or two per game because he’s still a bit too soft. It’s okay he’s a rookie he will figure it out. Be objective bro, it’s okay.

Shough getting bailed out by his receivers doesn't change the fact that Bryce threw that one a tad too short.

The point is WRs make plays when they're targeted. If you only catch the ball when it's a perfect pass and you're wide open, then you're just a guy. TMac will tell you he should have brought that in.

Yes he does, the DB hit Tmac in the arms after he had the ball in possession

The DB came in right as the ball got there and pulled TMacs hands down as he was adjusting his body to catch a ball BEHIND HIM. Shough throws that in a better position so *shrugs*

It's fine, Bryce is good in other ways, but that was bad ball placement.

It makes it hard but that’s what receivers like McMillan are for. Big strong possession receivers make those kind of contested catches.

Big strong receivers work by putting the ball in a spot for them to “go get it.”  Throwing it behind them when they’re sprinting the opposite direction is the complete antithesis of that.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
