This is exactly what I want to happen in the draft as far as drafting Lance and accumulating picks. Play all the young players we can get away with and go all in for 2022 with Lance having his breakout. The cost of acquiring Watson is far too much at this point if the reports of what we’d have to give up are true. I’d love for it all to be a smokescreen and this be the plan all along.

Trades seem a bit too good to be true and heavily favor us. The first 3 picks are money but after that it's kind of iffy for me outside of Shaun Wade who I agree in the 4th is worth the risk. 

If we don't get Watson and trading up for Wilson doesn't pan out then I would be extremely happy with this plan C assuming we can get Lance at 8.

Outside the first pick it’s crap. We would be lucky if creed Is there at our pick in the 2nd however I like the strategy we need o-line depth though, the cupboard is bare. Three of the next 4 picks after the 1st need to be o-line go corner and lb at the end of the draft unless someone drops. At the end of the draft I would like to see 2 OT OL OC

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
