Long snapper

No but seriously for me it would be running back. It just seems like solid RB's can be found in later rounds these days.

In high school, I was the long snapper and punter.

I was fast back then.

Seriously, I was the emergency long snapper and emergency punter.  Coach used to tell me, you better hope they both don't get hurt.  Har Har

I never want RB on day 1 or 2.  I hope we stop doing that.

It's a cliche at this point, but I want the best player available.

The last thing I want, especially picking this high, is drafting a solid LT and passing up on an All Pro WR (for example).

If they think Parsons is the next Derrick Brooks take him and sort the rest out later. It's rare that a need aligns with the BPA.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
