Per Matt Miller, the Carolina Panthers are the most improved team exiting the draft...

The fug out of here with that poo . I'm just saying I don't have much faith in oft injured free agent olineman (who have a history of poor performance on previous teams they were on) we've been bringing in for quite a while now . If they actually stay healthy and play lights out of course that's a good thing.

Don't be triggered man.  Just saying don't be so quick to pigeon hole and label two players you know nothing about, and then use them as a barometer on whether the Oline is trash or not when you've never even seen them in our system. Most Olineman are injured at some point in their career and they come back and play just fine.  Gross was injured.  Moton was injured.  Kalil was injured.  Not all Olineman who have had injuries (which is all of them) are damaged goods man.

Hard to stay on topic in a thread SCP made a cameo in but I would say that if a long snapper can be voted in by fans at a pro bowl position he can most definitely be counted as a "starter" when it comes to draft results.

It's so interesting how it works here. In 2010 the Panthers draft was lauded as well.

It's odd seeing people that made fun of Kiper for years for pushing Clausen on this team now do a 180 and post a video of Kiper just loving the Sam Darnold trade.

How many times here have I read "good, if the 'experts' don't agree I know we did well'. This place will turn any, absolutely any reaction into a positive spin. Meanwhile the team has never won a Super Bowl, and even with one of the weakest schedules in recent memory people are betting on 8-9 wins.

Sam will do better, if for Brady scheming the one read he stares down open every play, but he's not going to turn into a franchise guy.

Then their are people who sign up with alt usernames to push the negative just to rain on the parade of others. Get a life.

Guy I used to work with would tell girls he met in a bar that he was the Panthers backup punter.

I can't remember his name anymore.  That wasn't the Jon Beason lawsuit guy was it?

2 girls in NY approached my friend and me and asked me (based on my jacket) what I position I played on the football team. I replied, "Tight End." The other girl asked my buddy, who did not play football, what position he played.  He said, "Oh, I am am one of the loose ends."

He should have said, "wide receiver " 🤣🤣

I was in a college fraternity with that jackbag (he was kicked out for constantly starting fights, creeping girls, and almost burning down our fraternity house in his drunken douche-baggery) involved with the Jon Beason lawsuit... He got everything that had been coming to him for years...

I know he carried around a laminated card around in his wallet to impress woman claiming he was on the Panthers practice squad (this was in the early 2000's when it would have been much harder to verify that information for fringe practice squad players... I don't know what position he claimed but I doubt it was punter... he was 6'4", 240ish, and ripped so he could pass for a player for someone naive...

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
