Rhule last year, F it send Joey in from 70. Rule this year, let's punt it to get 20 yards of field position. If you aren't going to at least go for it, play call on third down cannot be what they called.

Probably not wanting to put the new kicker in a bad situation.  Plus our defense is playing well, so play field position.

So you the field goal and trust the defense to hold. There is no reason to punt there. I would have rather gone for it at that point than punt.
