Dak is an elite QB and Cooper and Lamb are a great tandem. The OLine is not the dominant OLine theyve had in the past and Zeke is a shell of himself. On defense they have some big names but they do not play very well as a whole

They have a ton of injuries on defense and are flat out bad, if it wasn't for a really bad call on the chargers offense they would be 0-2.

Also Dak isn't elite you need a playoff W at least imo for that.

Hopefully they stay Zeke heavy.   Tony Pollard IMO is the more explosive player and overall better RB at this point.   That started emerging last year.  Not that Zeke is trash.   But losing a step has really altered how scary he is.

Will be curious to see the usage tonight.  They were about a 50/50 split the week prior.

Dak has a playoff win.  The last time the Cowboys went to the playoffs they advanced a game.

Dak is solid, their receivers are great, Elliott has looked like trash this year and their OL has been bottom 5 in the league.

Their D is mediocre at best. They are not well coached overall.

I'm very confident about this one, even without McCaffrey/Horn. Bouye/CJ will help our D continue to be the best in the league even against a better offense. Darnold will be more of the same. Limit mistakes, a few deep shots to keep the D honest but mostly just steadily moving the ball and putting up enough points to get a convincing victory. 27-13 good guys

According to ESPNs Pass Blocking Win Rate metric, the Cowboys are dead last in the league at around 39%. I think our pass rush will help our depleted secondary this week against one of the better WR corps in the league. We should be able to pressure Dak consistently and not give his WRs much time to get open.

IF if was a fifth.....If the Cowboys wouldn't have left 7 pts. on the board (2 missed FGs and an extra point) they would have beat Tampa opening night and be 2-0. Dak beat Russell Wilson in his lone play off win.

The Cowboys OL and secondary is sub par. The lack of blocking affects their running game. Their defense is ranked near the bottom of the league and didn't make the Chargers punt. Well, they did force a punt but got a ruffing the kicker penalty.

    • The last goal was awful luck the second was too tbh    Chatfield tipped #2 in. And Freddie lost an edge
    • No we don't, if anything, I'd argue that WR is one of the more set positions on the roster at this moment for this coming season. We traded for Johnson to see if he can be a long term guy for us and to give Bryce a #1 who knows how to get open, he's locked in as the #1. Thielen was a stud last year and is locked in as the starting slot They think enough of Legette that we traded into the 1st to get him, he's locked in as the other starting outside WR as of now. This is year 1 of a rebuild, the coaches basically need to find out what they have in Mingo by the end of the year, because of that, he's also locked in as our 4th option, any lower on the depth chart and we might as well just cut or trade him now or his next season is TMJ's from last year. Giving Coker that signing bonus means they are all but expecting to keep him on the initial 53 (now, if he gets IR'd the first time he gets a paper cut, that's a different story, but it doesn't change the final 53 cut down math). ISM looked solid in the returner role last year, so unless they like someone better than him during camp, he's also got a spot locked up. So unless they plan on keeping 7 WRs on the initial 53, they likely only are looking for camp bodies at WR at this point, not someone they expect/want to find their way into the final 53.  And even if they wanted to keep 7 on the roster, at best we'd be looking for our 5th option. Someone like Jones may be an option once we get to the final 53 and then they end up IR'ing Coker as I expect them to do.
    • That's why you don't declare a game over till its over, you jinxed us, Freddie randomly slipping on nothing is proof Jk, but seriously, in the playoffs no lead is safe
