You get rid of Cam, get Teddy, Get rid of Teddy, Get Sam, only to get Cam back. 

 

Imagine if you actually rolled the dice with Cam instead of taking all these unnecessary steps.

We'd have to find someone with a lot of cap space and send them a 4th round pick or something. So Sam cost 3 picks to get and would cost another pick to get rid of

This would imply that Sam remains employed as an NFL QB moving forward.

Think this is getting blown out of proportion. What we will do with Darnold is put him on IR and in 4 weeks see how Cam is doing. Darnold is signed through 2023. Those who were upset we moved too quickly from Cam seem to have no problem doing the same thing with Darnold. Maybe we should learn from history.

You can't fix what's wrong with him IMO. He's a panicker. You can't fix that panic instinct.

i think at this point if you're paying him anyway you keep him on the roster next year as a backup, hope he learns something under cam assuming cam will be here next year () and then see if he's tradable in '23

Who knows. Do you really think we would have given him an extension? I don’t. 
 

It’s highly possible that he would have left last year and we’d have still picked up Sam.
