Defense checked out last week and they ain't coming back.  Welcome to the Big 12 ladies and gentlemen.

And Washington laid the blueprint of how to attack us last week, and that begins and ends with Donte.  Dude fuging sucks.

I’d say running right at burns is a big part of that blueprint

    • Hell, even Allen himself hasn't proven he's got it all just yet. Bottom line though, shooting for the next Josh Allen / Cam Newton all too frequently nets you the next Anthony Richardson / Trey Lance.
    • The whole "draft a QB savant with no NFL measurables" argument is also on the rocks at the moment. You need a little bit of this, little bit of that to make it work. Meanwhile, last year's MVP was a "draft an athlete and teach him how to be a QB" guy.
    • The whole "take the phenomenal athlete and teach him to be a quarterback" model is just something I've never believed in. They have to have the quarterback skills first. If they're also a great athlete, that's gravy. But The idea that you can turn a lousy passer / processor into a pro quarterback is just fallacy.
