I've made it a point to not make threads during games for this season, but this is necessary.  Rhule has to go.

We have seen poo coaching over the years, but it usually was in latter years of relationships that had simply already grown stale and reached their shelf-life before we got to that point. 

This?  This is different.

This staff has no fuging idea what they're doing.  As we've read over the last few weeks, Rhule and his staff coach like this is college - simple concepts with the belief that their guys will out-execute the other team.  The belief that their Jimmy and Joes will overpower their opponent's Xs and Os.  

This is the pros, and every week, schemes change and adjust based off their opponents.  The fact that Rhule and his staff have actually gotten worse as more time has passed is as telling as anything else.  Rhule and his staff are going through the motions of what they think an NFL staff does, but they don't know- all they know is college.  And this ain't that.  

This experiment is over.  We have more than enough evidence that it's time to pull the plug on it.

The fact he has his high school sweetheart calling plays and the offense still looks like poo is all you need to know.  Dude got him and his buddies a huge payday and now the ride is over.  Do these players a favor and leave.  Please.  If he doesn't, Tepper, then fire him.  This week.  Enough is enough.

As the one of the biggest optimists/benefit of the doubt members here, probably (always browsing, sometimes posting), I find it very hard to believe anybody that WANTS him as coach not to be a troll.

I settled at being ready to replace him. If we finish with 7-8 wins, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him another season since we ARE improved (record wise) in year 2, so heading the right direction. And around 8-9 wins was my expectation before the season. But I'm more than okay with getting a jump on the head coach search if they release him at halftime. I do believe he's in over his head and is somehow way more nepotistic than Rivera was.

      That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.

      Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.

      Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair.  For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years.  Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
