Article posted is a take from a Titans site

Hamilton is a bit of a mutt when it comes to offensive systems. He has roots in the west coast offense, but has referred to his offense as a “no coast offense” previously due to him borrowing elements from Air Coryell and other offensive systems during his career as a coach. He cites Mike Heimerdinger, Norv Turner, and Paul Hackett as influential mentors in addition to Jim Harbaugh.

There are clear differences though. Hamilton’s offenses leaned towards power concepts in the running game instead of the zone blocking schemes that the Titans have preferred under LaFleur and Smith (though the heavy incorporation of the duo concept in 2020 showed that Tennessee doesn’t have to be exclusively a zone team to function in the run game). He also was far more pass heavy than Tennessee has been on offense recently, though that could simply be a result of him running the offense through his best player in Andrew Luck (which is a sign of good coaching).

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
