I'm still shocked someone gave up so much capital for him when the legal stuff still wasn't really cleared, not to mention if he'll be suspended by the NFL, it's just a clown show. Glad we are out of the woods with this.

I’m still shocked we TRIED. We’re not our of the woods with leadership as stupid as this.

Several people who work in law have mentioned that prosecutors often present a weak argument to a grand jury if they think it's a case they can't win. If this county's prosecutors are a little more zealous, you might see a different result.

That said, the particulars of the one case they're presenting don't necessarily make me think major ramifications, but I guess we'll see.

This is true. If a law enforcement WANTS to pursue a case, they rarely get rejected by the grand jury. There must have been hardly any - if any at all - evidence presented to the first grand jury.

Oh wee mayne. Trading huge resources, giving out a massive guaranteed contract, and alienating their current QB to take a swing on a guy with massive black clouds overhead just to watch him get indicted... that would be maximum Cleveland Browns poo right there. 😂

The Browns paid $230,000,000 for this circus. And they aren't done yet. The PR nightmare is just getting started.  They will have to shell out millions trying to change the narrative around him and the team.

Good luck with that.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
