CMC basically willed that last scoring drive into existence for us vs. the Cards. The game prior he broke loose for a huge run that gave us the game.

If you moved him to WR, he'd be the best receiver we had on the team and would be in the Deebo mode.

But sure, let's go ahead and trade him  and give the next HC less to work with for a second round draft pick roll of the dice.

Unfortunately Mr. Tepper has to learn just because you can file bankruptcy to avoid financial obligations in business doesn’t mean you can avoid “paying the piper” with albatross contracts with dead cap money.

We're 11-25 since signing him to that foolish contract. RB's are a dime a dozen draft one in the mid rounds and keep building this oline for our future quarterback.

It’s going to be 18.5M before March, no matter what. Whatever amount that comes off this years(around 6M) is just less carry over so it’s all the same. It’s going to sting.

With that said, it wouldn’t be very hard for us to create a healthy amount of cap space

Plus the hope here is that we end up with a top 2-3 pick and use it on a QB which would then put us in a good position moving forward 

Which again, for the 1038494 time. It is so damn important we continue to lose this season

      You know, there's something about this whole JAG thing that really just drives home the idea that to some folks, these players aren't real people, just names and stats.  Of course, it goes beyond sports. We're a sad, jaded species, us humans.

      Yeah, it's just dumb. Everything is year to year. I never understood how anyone could stay engaged as a Kentucky fan or duke fan as duke became a one and done factory like Calipari made Kentucky. The thing I liked at about UNC is that we primarily focused on recruits likely to play multiple years. We'd have pur occasional one and done but most of our pros still played multiple years. And the days of the Stackhouses, Wallace, Jamison, Carter, etc. playing multiple years is just over. And now you have your role players entering the portal every year to test the waters elsewhere. I don't blame them for looking out for themselves but just personally speaking I'll run out of interest quickly trying to get to know a whole new roster year over year.
