I don't even know what to think about this team now. I think even if they squeeked into the playoffs they'd get spanked hard and be one and done with a draft pick in the 20s for the "culture"

We were always going to get obliterated in the Playoffs - it would have just said a lot if we'd got there.

Alas we just got emasculated at home by the hated Steelers.

Draft a QB THO!!!!  One that can not only pass, but catch, run block and elude the pass rush for at lest 5 seconds because nobody can get open down field!!!!

It’s painfully obvious we need a new OC as well.
On a side note, is Higgins hurt or something? He is nothing special, but is a vet WR who was shown he can get open…

I miss watching solid football every Sunday, for years we’ve been stuck with ass to mediocre play weekly depending on matchups. fug Tepper fug Rhule and whoever enabled this team to be stuck in purgatory for years. Burn it to the ground or actually invest fully in winning, playing both sides gets you exactly where we are.

That would have always been the case.

We have beaten one winning team, the Seahawks, and they have beaten only losing teams.

This was one of the worst defensive performances all season.  Probably second worst, behind the 1st half of the Bengals game, before they put in the 3rd stringers in the 3rd quarter.

New OC, oh yeah, 100%.  Anyone who is a fan of any of these rookie QBs needs them to stay away from this team.  As much of an uphill climb it is to be success early on as a rookie QB, we will ensure the dude is a bust.

    • I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas.  We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years.   It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game. And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers.   I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.
    • again, I am not his employer, I dont follow his stuff or read any of it including social media, but he has been employed long enough where someone thinks he is doing a good job, not disagreeing he isnt an moron but I am not calling for anyones job for being a moron when it really doesnt affect me
