Tepper is gonna pull some stupid poo like naming Reich and Wilks co-HCs and in game management will be a disaster

So I may not be wrong...

The MMQB's Albert Breer said he believes the Panthers would like to hire both Steve Wilks and Frank Reich.

As Breer notes in his tweet, this is his own opinion and not a report. Still, the Panthers have had second interviews with both Wilks and Reich, and would benefit from the two co-existing on the same staff. With Wilks already having the support of the locker room for the head coaching role, it's likely the only way this would work would be with Wilks as head coach and Reich as offensive coordinator. This situation could become an interesting one to monitor as the Panthers reach the home stretch of their coaching search.

And all the Colts had to do was beat the league-worst Jacksonville Jags to get into the playoffs on the last game of the regular season in 2021 and they pissed their pants. Lost to a bad Raiders team the week before and then went to Jacksonville and were never in the game.

This is again another one of those situations where you have to determine is it the HC's fault or the QB's fault? Wentz turned the ball over twice in both of those games. One of those turnovers in each game were critical as well.

That would be funny if Payton walking had to do with Tepper not wanting to pay Sean as much as Sean probably wanted ... and is now might hire two HCs who will not take a discount. If he ended up paying more for them ...

This is a scenario completely made up in your own head.

Reich just got fired from Indianapolis. That had to be such a bullshit hassle dealing with all of that. Maybe he wants a break. He doesn't need the money, and his life is in Charlotte. Why wouldn't he accept gobs of money to be an 'overpaid' OC for the Panthers in his now home state? If he wants to be a HC again, he'll have plenty of options over the next few hiring cycles.

If you have Wilks to handle the 10,000 foot view of things, and let Reich and Fangio handle the actual coaching, it sounds like a dream scenario for an owner with enough money to make it happen.

Because he's making gobs of money to sit at home anyway?

    • You're dreaming if you think that's all it would cost to move up from the 51st pick to the 1st round. It would take at least a first next year
