Mr and Mrs Tepper won't be firing themselves and I doubt they'll sell... so what's your solution?

We have to be real, he's the owner for the foreseeable future and won't recuse himself or sell. So here's my only solution, we need a team President. 

 

When Mr. Richardson fired his sons, he hired a team president. We need a Danny Morrison, someone who knows football, real estate, local politics to help navigate the franchise and report back to the Teppers. Someone who can really pick a GM, help negotiate leases, etc. This way Mr. Tepper gets all the face time he wants but has hired someone who actually knows what the heck they are doing

It’s not anything I can control so I just cheer each game for a W and then when it don’t happen I’ll think about how it helps draft stock and young players get valuable reps. And I’ll do this every year until I’m dead and we probably still won’t have ever even had back to back winning seasons lol.

At this rate I see Tepper moving the team if we keep this crap losing rate up for the next 3-5 years. There is no contract with Panthers and current stadium. Tepper did not build his sports complex in South Carolina. What’s keeping him here? He would probably run tail and start fresh somewhere else with a new fan base.

      I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.

      My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.

      Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
