Will Scott Fitterer go down as one of the worst GM’s in NFL history?

The Bryce Young trade could potentially be the worst trade in the history of the NFL if Bryce is a bust for what they gave up to get him.

His list of failures is long and touches every part of being a GM. I won’t go into all of them but one of his worst decisions is the trade he didn’t make with Brian Burns to the Rams for 1sts and a 2nd round pick. What a dunce. 

The Panthers had a horrendous record during his tenure. 

Anyone else think history will not be kind to Mr Fitterer?

2021 (#8 overall): Jaycee "IR" Horn

2022 (#6 overall): Ickey "Speed Bump" Ekwonu

2023 (#1 overall, plus #1 overall in 2024): Bryce "Super Processor" Young

With three straight top 10 picks, we drafted a cornerback (a luxury pick) that can't stay healthy, a left tackle that can't pass block (and that everyone knew couldn't pass block), and a noodle-armed midget QB.

And that's just the first round! The rest are worse

His time with us tanked this franchise. I can't even hear Sam Darnold's name without cringing. I don't want to list off players like CJ Henderson ect, but it's sufficed to say that he ruined us.

Priority one was landing a QB. He failed miserably, and built a poop team too boot. 2 wins in 2023. 2. Brutal.

      I want the conversations at season's end to be more about what else we need to build onto the foundation to be playoff contenders and less about the fultility of drafting yet another QB and hiring yet another coach because as long as Tepper is the owner, it doesn't matter what this team does.
