Yeah, I was excited for him. Then thought he was the biggest bust in history.

Now, I think he has a real future if he continues to get better and can stay healthy.

None of us know how to evaluate players.

He has pulled a dramatic change of direction.  He was headed towards worst pick of all time and has at the very least bought himself some more time to continue to develop.  I’m still hesitant to say he’s the guy but I’d be lying my ass off if said I wasn’t impressed these last few weeks.

Keep pounding young man.

As someone who has a been an entrenched member this season and advocating for the need to move on….I advised while largely dismissing his recent games for various reasons that I would officially reevaluate my position after the Eagles game.

So as of today, I am leaving Bryce Haters Inc.  While he does have some physical limitations that aren’t ideal in a created player on Madden….so have other Panthers like 89, CMC, etc.  Not suggesting he will be as dominate but outside the box can work.

I think Bryce post benching has made a clear cut change in willingness to throw certain balls, his confidence, and how he chocies to see the field of play.

I do think the current guy, is largely what we all thought we would be drafting and developing.  So I will throw my support behind that going forward and through whatever bumps he might see this year.

Ladies and Gentlemen we got him.

Finally you on the Bryce wagon.

The hater label has become so overused it has no meaning here in reference to Bryce Young anymore.

This isn't a Cam situation where he entered the league balling out and people begrudgingly cheered and still lowkey loathed him.

He's had to earn his gig back after playing horrendously. Now he's looking like a serviceable starter. That's where we're at.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
