Relax. We are off to a slow start.

I've seen this thread before lol.  I feel like a slow start isn't getting absolutely dominated and not even looking like an NFL team.  It's probably time to replace Morgan.  I never liked that we kept someone that worked so close with Fitt anyway.  And Canales, I guess what did we expect he's the only coach we could get that probably wanted to be here.  Was always a roll of the dice.  I suspect he's great in a job interview.

These are the same guys they showed themselves to be in the pre-season.

We look like the kid who never does his homework being called to come up to the chalkboard and explain a math equation.

Good job coach.

Canales is fuggin terrible. Soft ass coach. Probably gave every player a blue ribbon after the game.

I wish we could replace Morgan. I genuinely don't know who we're going to get. This team has a terrible owner that thinks he's the smartest guy in the room and while that may be true as a fund manager, as an NFL executive he's in way over his head. But anyone who is seriously looking at this job will see his fingerprints all over the way this team has been run since he bought it and nobody wants to work for a micromanager.

i think if i wasn't getting laid off in a few weeks i would probably be more engaged. i just don't have room in my head for the kind of poo we've got going on.

seriously, it would have helped me out if we could have this one year where we didn't suck just to give me something to look forward to. now it's just another negative thing i've got going on. i'd really just not bother with it anymore.

Sorry to hear that man. Keep that chin up, Panthers aren't worth taking up any headspace. You got this

Yesterday was my 64th birthday and the game almost ruined it for me. Luckily I had one of my best birthdays yet. I hope you find a better job my friend.

We've seen bits and pieces of it the past 2 years but I think 2025 is the year the NFL officially flips away from being a "pass happy" league

I don't think we are there yet. I think it was just sloppy football overall in week one. It wasn't like there was a bunch of exceptional rushing performances. On the contrary, there were three RB's over 82 yards rushing in Week 1(minus tonight's game).

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
