Give Legette another season?

Guy has the height and the size to be a force. Should they give him some more time to develop? Are you all giving up hope?  Will another off season help if he applies himself? Maybe better suited for the TE position?

I think another season to improve and he can turn the corner.

What do u think?

He’s a joke. I’d rather see them cut him for anyone that actually wants to be a contributor. I’ve never seen a receiver drift out of bounds multiple times in one season.

I would take a 3rd and never look back. The WRs around that pick are more likely to produce more than XL ever will.

Yes. I don't know why everyone here is so quick to throw away developing players.  The way you act, the majority of the people here would never have seen Charles Johnson develop, or Thomas Davis, or Steve Smith. 

Are extremely raw, extremely physically talented WR is still developing. Give the kid a break.

As opposed to what? He’s been extremely disappointing but unless they can somehow dupe some schmuck into trading for him ala Mingo, there’s no reason not to give him at least another training camp. If he gets beat out so be it.

XL needs the ball with room to run or to try to outrun someone. He's a bigger version of Ted Ginn with worse hands, no route tree and no boundary sense.

I think given his physical tools and Carolina’s offense struggles/reputation…..some team would take him off our hands.

As much as I liked XL and wanted him to succeed, I think we are better off with Coker as the the #2 and a guy with good hands and route running for the slot.

Just put horn on the field and give Coker the reps XL was getting.

Yeah bring him back but have someone else ready to replace him if he looks the same midseason next year.
