As for players, I’m going with Matt Willig.

I’ll go in another coaching direction and say Richard Rodgers.  How he stuck around so long was a testament to Rivera’s nepotism.

For players I’ll say Pickles.  Sione Fua was also a guy who looked outmatched every time he stepped on the field

Jeff Davidson definitely should be a top nominee for worst coach.

Jimmy Clausen seems too easy as the worst player, but I can't think of any other that was as bad as he was.

Gotta argue on Henning.  He was the sole reason why we came back in the Cheatriot Super Bowl in 2003.  Had he not altered our game plan we would have been destroyed.

The only player I remember really roasting as a kid was Chris Weinke, but I mean, come on.  Those jokes wrote themselves.

Mike Shula and Haruki Nakamura

 

Shula had some generational talent and couldn’t take advantage of 2 I repeat 2 opportunities to make and win a SB. 

Nakamura, though short lived might have caused me to single handedly go bald aside from my ex and her emotional discrepancies.

For any long term Panthers fans, this is the only real answer. Although Tahir Whitehead gets honorable mention as the worst player we've ever had.
