We are going to covert to an 11 corner base defense and run 5 wide sets with Corners.

I don’t think he is that good. He lost his starting spot and was just play Special teams and requested a trade. Maybe, he would be good for depth? Possible Convert him to safety.

Let's tap the brakes there Marty.  How many CB's have the Panthers successfully converted to safety?

I think this is just a symptom of our traumatized fanbase.  We are so accustomed to our secondary being a hot mess that we're still snatching at any opportunity.  The truth is, our secondary is pretty darn good these days.

If memory serves his natural position is Safety, he was the more rare Safety convert to Corner.
