He has nothing to lose. If he gets fired getting at least a Baylor caliber job is virtually guaranteed. He'd likely get an upgrade. Dude's playing with house money.

It just simply makes me sick to watch them play these days

nothing about this team screams a pro team..,nothing

if Murray and Hopkins had been on the field it would have been a massacre

Kelly’s retort of ‘it worked 5 times’ when questioned about his process was infuriating

Unfortunately, for the remaining 12 games, can’t play either the Jets or  the Texans

if this team played them again, they’d lose to both

I think we both need to make ourselves find something else to do on Sundays.

Rhule may be here next year but I doubt he will make in through 2022.
I see nothing on this team that says we will even be a playoff team next year.
We don’t have a QB or OL. Our defense has been exposed and the holes are forming. We have no draft picks on day 2.
2022 is shaping up to be another lost season before it even begins.
I have no idea how this team will be a playoff contender in 2022.
Also we don’t have as much cap space as we thought we were gonna have.
This team is so screwed up.

This is a sad truth.  We have to rebuild the rebuild.

When he gets fired I wonder if any college team would hire him as a HC or if he’ll have to take a coordinator job to recoup his prestige

I suspect much of his success comes down to Phil Snow and I say that as a Rhule supporter when we hired him.

Rhule as a coordinator may not be very compelling. Perhaps the prize you get with hiring Rhule is that Snow comes with him.

    • You don’t even need 1b because Tepper is the only one foolish enough to wheel that deal.    Player wise? Jake’s elbow. JR and Pep getting sideways, no Carruth, Cam’s shoulder, Luke’s concussions, it would be a long list of stuff. You can take it down to certain plays in games. Fox chasing 2 point conversions in the SB would be on my list. RMJr slipping at the end of that same game was not helpful.
    • Ultimately this just amounts to heavy revisionist history. I mean you aren't talking to someone that just popped out the womb a week ago. I was here all throughout the predraft process. The overwhelming majority of the fanbase felt like this was a fine situation and the best situation for a rookie QB to go to compared to Houston for example. The hype for Young and our "rockstar" staff was off the charts. No one could dare speak cautious skepticism of his abilities or they would be neg repped into oblivion. Only after he had one of statistical worst rookie seasons of the last 25 years did we get this narrative now that his rookie season actually shouldn't count. Complete malarkey if you ask me.
    • On the field? Since I guess it qualifies as multiple instances it might not count, but have the damn refs throw some flags on illegal hits to Cam's head in SB50. If that doesn't count, 1A. Cotchery caught it 1B. Kasey keeps that kickoff inbounds. Off the field? 1A. Team is sold to anyone but Tepper 1B. We have the patience not to mortgage the franchise on that Bryce trade. Stroudwpuldve been the better pick but he's not worth it either.
