David Tepper Still Won’t Talk

If you are going to start as an upfront and vocal figure in your sports team when you buy it and then hide when things go very badly then maybe it's time to buy some PR help to navigate being a public figure. How to speak NFL if you will.

Then again if he hired well he wouldn't have to hide...

In my opinion, I don't fuging care if he talks or not, it doesn't change a damn thing. As long as decisions are being made to try and go in the right direction I don't care if he speaks.

So far we have done well bringing in experienced coaches to try and help Rhule handle the game (whether it does or he not and he gets fired we'll find out soon) and we have made some really good moves in FA. Now if we had stuck with the same exact staff and then didn't do much in FA THEN I'd have expected an answer.

Dude talked a LOT when he first came to town. Talked a real big game. If we ever fall back asswards into winning again he'll be singing like a bird again.

Bingo. Weak look to be out there like that and then vanish when the going get rough. Maybe he'll take something away from this and be less visible when the team (someday...) starts winning again.

This. Guy intentionally came across as a very visible, present, and available owner... one of the guys who you'd see popping up everywhere fans were and interacting with them. He was always available to and speaking with the media, trying to engage the fans.

Since last year he's done none of that. Why? Got to assume he's either embarrassed about the product he's putting out there or he just doesn't care about the fans anymore.

I said when he didn't fire Rhule that I honestly think he's embarrassed and is afraid he'd just fug it up again so he's gonna do nothing and just go run and hide and hope things get better.

I can't say I personally need to hear from him. But if he hadn't pulled a 180 from being a total chatterbox and interacting with the fans as often as possible to being on a "have you seen me?" poster there wouldn't be much said about this.

Lol haven’t you heard what the league thinks of our organization now. Y’all really don’t pay attention to anything do you?

If you referring to the anonymous NFL team scout/employee that said it, not sure if they speak for the league.

i mean if you look at the falcons and saints , they are both franchises in shambles right now. Between having suspended nfl players, criminals, player exodus, coach abandoning a franchise , turning their on their franchise qb to chase another criminal’s jock strap and fielding the absolute worst roster in football….

that’s a pretty rough track record for those two teams…
