Burns got blocked by a small running back

Could have gotten some premium draft capital for him. What a huge mistake. Fitterer needs to be fired too. They really need to clean house from top to bottom and that includes Tepper selling the team.

At a certain point the team just needs to win. They’re not magically going to become a better team by continuing to tank at the end of seasons as they have the last 4 seasons. You either tank the full year like the Texans did this season or you try to win. They decided not to tank when they didn’t trade Burns and DJ Moore. I thought they should have traded them and tanked but they didn’t. So might as well try to win, they’re already not going to be able to get Stroud or Young. Even Levi’s might not be possible.

Unfortunately it doesn't feel like they are getting better.

Here's the weird thing :

If the Bengals destroy the Bucs like some of us expect, we are STILL going to be in it amazingly.

So we get to experience the edge-of-our-seat sh-tshow again next week.

But this time the game will be over by the end of the 1st quarter when the Lions drop 20+.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
