Realistically he shouldn't have blitzed 6 in that situation, but by no means was he the cause of the 49ers losing tonight.

49ers fans probably expected too much from him, he’s good but not great as a play caller. Unrealistic to think the defense wouldn’t miss a beat after having to replace Ryans. I’d be more concerned about their QB/kicker than the defense.

It's easier to blame Wilks than the 6th round draft pick that looks like a 6th round draft pick minus some of the best weapons in football. You know, the one that ESPN and other sports organizations spammed Tom Brady comparisons for?
