BRUTAL, the man who should have been the HC of the carolina panthers (because he was born in Charlotte) is public enemy number 1 for the 49er fanbase!

This is a sad and pathetic thread and proves some people just hated Wilks.

 

Before this game people were talking about the 49ers like they were the best team in football. Now that they lose without 2 of their top 5 players Trent/Deebo you chose to make a topic about Steve Wilks.

 

OP couldn't wait to make this topic. He been waiting for Wilks to lose a few games.lmao

 

Meanwhile we are the worst team in football and Frank hasn't won a game since we hired him over wilks. You guys should think before you make these dumb topics.

It's easier to blame Wilks than the 6th round draft pick that looks like a 6th round draft pick minus some of the best weapons in football. You know, the one that ESPN and other sports organizations spammed Tom Brady comparisons for?

Surely it can't be that guy. fug it, it's the new DC. He sucks.

      Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.

      Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.

      13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion.
