Know who owns Mike Evans? Bradberry. Sure could've used a proven vet these past seasons instead of throwing money down various positional toilets.

Bradberry coming back would have elevated the entire team this year. Sucks that he didn't come home.

Not being close enough to commit pass interference on any of those plays was embarrassing. If you're gonna get your ass beat, at least tackle the dude before the ball gets there so he can't walk in for a TD.

I agree and neither player is equipped mentally or physically to shut down a HoF WR by themselves.

I legit don't get it. Is it a pain tolerance thing? Is it because he's young and doesn't want to risk it?

I'd bet his father has an influence. This league doesn't care if you're injured. If you're on the field, then you're ready to play. No excuses if you play bad trying to "help" the team.

If JC Horn played, we won.

3TDs to Evans killed us ....all three were too easy.

Those two CBs are trash.

Darnold played well, not great, but well.

We had no running game...and man, that Vita Vai destroyed our inside more often than not...How come we don't have a NG like that?

You're right. And unfortunately, there aren't many nose guards like that.

The one person away was a good HC.  That soft ass defense is what lost, that left the quick out passes open all game, and then not putting someone over the top of Evans was just the icing on the cake.  That was an embarrassing game plan and situational coaching.

Darnold had high moments and low moments, but failed at what I needed to see him be a legit contender for our QB job next year and that was leading the team to a win on his shoulders.  He had numerous times to do it but failed with bad throws, delays of game, and other mistakes.  He did make some really good plays, that escape on the second to last drive, all three TD throws were really good, but he also underthrew a couple balls really bad and one of those was an int.

The loss is 100% on Wilks and Holcomb.

Thats the thing with players, they gotta be on the field to play.  You can say all you want "If we just had them in the game".  Not a huge knock at Horn but dude has now been injured for about 3/4th of his professional career.  If he comes back and gets injured again I will then label him as injury prone.  If you can't depend on a guy to be on the field its no use using this argument, thus making it pointless.  If we can't win with a couple starters being out we have no business being in the playoffs anyway.

    • yeah, I can get a little of that.  But that's not what he is posting in his argument just now though.   He said people wouldn't even concede to the literal ability to do it when pressed on the literal ability.  I have never seen that.  He maintains it exists somewhere.  I mean, using anomaly games to make arguments about players just isn't the way.   There wasn't a defender within 10 yards of our guys on 2 of those 3 throws Sunday.  No one within 5 on the 3rd.   That's not Bryce Young answering questions about his play downfield..  That's Bryce Young taking advantage of coverage busts by a bad D.  Which hey, that's part of the game too.  Recognition and seeing the field.   It can't totally be dismissed.   That's still good play.  You want your QBs to make those plays.  But it's not getting into the long standing critique of BY IMO.
    • Deserved, I wouldn’t use that word. Asked for? For sure. Am I upset over it? No.  People forget that AT was throwing his helmet in frustration last season over his QB’s ineptitude. The same QB was pretty inept to start this year, no guarantee AT would have helped him in those games any more than he did last year.  Just sayin.  And Dan doing him a solid probably did not go unnoticed by players around the league. I think it increases his rep with potential FAs. It sure can’t hurt it.
    • You think that was the fault of the guy that was lighting it up or maybe the bums around him? Funnily enough, those bums are still being bums in his absence. Who would have thought!
