Normally I'd say about 0 but Sam is terrible and Fitts has previous experience with his team throwing a 3rd round rookie right to the wolves so I'm saying 50% (voted 50-75). Also, less risk starting a rookie QB if we have a dominant OL and some solid weapons, which it's looking like we will. Dak is another example.

Won't really know anything until camp though, he could look horrible and not ready at all once the pads come on. Who knows.

Ok, so Fhule should decide. We got Icky but we didn't even really get to see what Brady Christensen had to offer until way late and Rhule admittedly said that may have a mistake.

Trusting Rhule to evaluate QB readiness is lol. Remember he kept Sam from playing in the preseason, coddling the dude. The NFL has long figured Sam out and will put him in situations they know he can't handle.

Time to move on from past mistakes and embrace the future by commiting to your new franchise QB. THAT will show Corral that you are serious about reaching his potential.

All this coddling guys want to do thinking they're saving Matt from football is ridiculous. He'll learn more, get up to speed, getting reps not watching Sam.

Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes

It appears that the Panthers intend to run more this season.

If true, that would bode well for Sam Darnold.  If Sam makes any progress with in-game decisions he could produce another mini win streak (like last season).  Matt Rhule and Scott Fitterer would likely favor this outcome, as it would provide an "We were right all along" narrative for their trade w/the Jets.

With this in mind, chances are Rhule and company are going to give Sam Darnold every opportunity to succeed early this season.

However, if Matt Corral is all that and a bag of chips (clearly heads and shoulders above Darnold) well, all bets are off.

TL/DR:  Everybody loves a winner!

Don’t forget Marshall led or was right there with the leader in preseason receiving yardage and well, it didn’t translate well.

Oddly, Sam Darnold also didn’t really play in the preseason

Robbie Anderson earned 85% of offensive snaps in the regular season.  TMJ 36%

I don’t think issue was TMJ and his gait

Rule is unpredictable. There's no telling. I mean it doesn't really matter if Corral looks or is better, Rule is going to role with whoever he's comfortable with.

Especially since he's been pretty much lost the majority of his control so far this offseason. His narcissism is like a ticking time bomb waiting for him to start micromanaging again.

Sam simply completing a pass would be considered "progress" at this point.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
